Why organic cotton?
Cotton muslin has been trusted for generations to swaddle and comfort babies. It’s a lightweight, breathable and absorbent textile that keeps your baby comforted and secure when wrapped up, whilst more importantly keeping their temperature regular – neither too hot or too cold.
All the blankets we make for you are from certified organic cotton muslin. This isn’t just because of the green aspects but also because it’s a premium quality, more durable and gentler on your baby’s tender skin.
Organic cotton is grown free from any nasty fertilisers or pesticides. Because of this it retains more of it’s natural wax which makes it much smoother and softer than a non-organic.
How to care:
The more you wash your swaddle blankets, the softer they will become over time. We recommend to gently machine wash on a temperature of 30-40c or lower and line dry naturally. To retain softness and that crinkled muslin feel we do not recommend ironing any of our products.
